As much as I hate television, and despite my moderate dislike of the show House, I absolutely love Hugh Laurie's portrayal of the character. To a significant degree, House is what I imagined I'd be when I got older - brilliant, selfish, confident, and a complete asshole. Oh, and the cane thing, too.
