it WAS good, but I was dissapointed, because it could have been GREAT. Even FUCKIN GREAT, but it was just too... damn... short. I wanted more Beast, more Nightcrawler (man I miss that little blue bastard), more Colossus, more Archangel, more more more.

I can understand that ther were smashing a Saga into 1 1/2 hrs... and also having to cater to the stupid american populus' short attention spans....
but man... All in all... I'd give it a 3 outta 5, because there's too much missing.

What was there was awesome *thinkin of Wolverene's ass kicking in the forest*

Seems like everyone is being too greedy. I wanted Gambit, but his absense didn't make me frown at the movie or humph away after the credits. There's too much, way too much comic for them to meet every whim of every fan. They picked the focus they wanted to take and did an amazing job with it. I mean those were the least fake looking wings I've ever seen in a size that was perfect. And the Juggernaut didn't look cartoonish and fake like the Hulk. Each character was well developed and true to form. The plot was interesting and fluid despite it's complexity ( ... )

COULD have been great? Have you seen a better movie this year? Or a better comic book movie since Batman Begins? I would even go so far as to say this was probably better than BB. It had action, suspense, comedy, tragedy, triumph, and the best Akira moment I've ever seen. It was complex but not difficult to follow. It picked up from the last storyline perfectly, and every character acted true to their motivations all the time. You could empathise with every single character because they all did what they did for a reason that made sense from where they were standing.
Yes it could have been longer, but only because every part kicked ass. I'd much rather it be cut down to only what it needs than ramble on trying to show everyone's favorite mutant.
Man it's hard to discuss this spoiler free.

Ok.. I thought that the movie was GGGRRRREEEEAAAATTTT!!!! But I did feel that it could have had mas more greatness if they'd added even just 30 minutes to the film cause they could have done more..but for what there was it was not in any way disapointing

Ah. I'll never understand so I should just stop trying. I feel like if they had added much more in, they would have lost the flow. And I bet at least a handful of people were beating their heads against the wall trying to find the right balance between as much stuff as possible and a coherent movie.

But I'd honestly rather be me than either of you two. My standards may be lower, but I had a much better time.
