Family Plan: $80 for 700 minutes (plus $30 for each additional line), unlimited data, 200 SMS messages, unlimited nights and weekends, rollover minutes, and unlimited mobile to mobile.

I want you to picture me running across the UT campus, screaming "Noooo!" as you click on the "Buy iPhone" button.

Seriously, dude. Wait for rev 2. I have never, ever seen an initial Apple product release go smoothly, with the exception of the Mac Mini. Original iMac G5? Nope. Macbook? Nope. Macbook Pro? Afraid not. Mac Pro wasn't too bad, and iPods tend to be okay...but yeah.

Wait for rev 2.

Oh, I never said I was gonna buy it. I simply don't have the $1200 necessary (because Jane would absolutely not let me get one unless I bought her one as well).

And I agree with you on the Rev 1 thing. We lucked out with our MacBook, all things considered, but we had to buy it when we did.

After Jane and I get married (and I finish paying for it) I'll consider getting an iPhone.
