"Boxed In" is a little more traditional than a lot of my other generator layouts, but remains a nice, clean alternative to any of the templates on the LiveJournal site. It features individually bordered entires in a single column and a customizable banner and navigation box where you can also place a blurb about yourself or your community. I used a ( Read more... )

I always look forward to your new layouts, they're so gorgeous. Though, I have one issue whenever I use them. I have IE, and my text seems to bunch up on the pages all the time, to the point where I have to refresh my brower a couple of times to get it to straighten out. Is this because I have IE? I'm going to put this layout in my memories for future use. Will credit you when I use. Thanks! :)

The short answer is, yes, it's because you have IE.

I design my layouts specifically for Firefox, so I always have to make them work on IE as opposed to them just working there right off the bat. Like you said, though, if you refresh the screen, everything straightens itself out.

For whatever reason, Microsoft is just not as advanced as FF when it comes to reading code. I know that a new IE is about to be released, so hopefully the programmers will have fixed those bugs.

Personally, I much prefer Firefox as a browser as it's easily customized and has a crazy number of extensions that make surfing the web more fun. I strongly recommend you giving it a try. :)

Ok, I feel you. I have FF, it's just that I'm so used to IE...can't teach an old dog new tricks, ya know? Guess it's time to crack down and get used to using FF, as it appears to be the better browser...for everything. Thanks for your help! :)

I'm actually using this, and I love it. ANd I've been going through a lot of yours and love the simple elegance. For some reason, even though Im using FF, the line that has all the links at the top is straight when you first go to the page, but when you click on one, it bunches up, and you have to find it and click it again.

You know what, it doesnt really bother me. I'll just try and go through the coding and see if I made any adjustment mistakes.

And keep up the good work.
