I absolutely fucking hate trying to find an apartment. you get all your forms together, pay stubs, proof of employment, old tax records, credit checks and thats not enough. then you get all your parents bank statements, proof of home ownership, tax returns, credit checks and thats not really enough either. and then you show up to countless places

I'm so sorry. Finding an apartment in the best of times is stressful as hell, so I can't imagine what you're going through. :/ Any luck finding a sublet for the time being?

im forcing a friend into letting me sleep on her couch. im so frusterated and almost embarassed at my apparent incompetency that I havent told my parents im homeless. and my dad is driving me back out to new york in a few days so he can help me fix up the apartment I do not have. ahh lame.
