Hot dog! This is in the Friday lunchtime history-of-science series-- I love those.
For a few years they were available as audio on Itunes. I'd load them into my Ipod and drive around Illinois* learning about Edward Lear's natural history drawings, or the hunt for the remains of the Beagle, or the printing of Hooke's Micrographia. Sometimes the traffic noises of London could be faintly heard.
Sadly, the flow of new episodes (I hope you'll pardon me thinking of them as "episodes") (say, is there Royal Society fanfic?) stopped around 2012, and I miss them. They have streaming video of some, which is nice, but not so conducive to downloading and driving.
The link above indicates that a few new lectures have been added recently. I hope this means I can resume listening. Will be excited to catch your talk.
* With the help of a little FM transmitter that plays on my car radio. I don't generally drive around Illinois with headphones on.
