I guess I'm on a Neil Gaiman kick. I just re-read "Stardust" (since I got the Charles Vess illustrated version for Christmas!! Yay!!) and I just picked up "Fragile Things" at the library the other day. It's amazing when an author is so good, that you actually enjoy reading their book's introduction as much as reading the book itself! It's pretty -

My dad is (finally) out of surgery and everything is OK! I think he was in the OR for around 3 1/2hours, I was really getting anxious as the time stretched on. But, Hurray ( Read more... ) -

Well, my father is going in for surgery on his spine tomorrow. This is the surgery he is going for. He has been in tremendous pain for the past couple of weeks, so we are all relieved that he is getting the sugery done...but of course, we are all anxious because it is, of course, surgery and that is always a somewhat scarey thing.
