I always love watching Nat and LaCroix dance around each other with that slight tinge of respect and the tension of being in complete disagreement. Thank you!

It's interesting to see LaCroix acknowledging explicitly what he owes to Natalie, while still making quite clear the threat he poses to her.

(I'm not immediately, conclusively recognizing the strychnine reference... is it the rat poison in "The Fix"?)

Rat poison yes, but in "Near Death". Nat used it to jumpstart Nick's heart after he went flatlining. I've always wondered where was Lacroix in this moment of distress.

Yes, of course, I meant "Near Death"! Thank you. But perhaps I had best rewatch second season again soon, just to be sure... ~grin~

To my immediate recall, I've never once, before your story, wondered where Lacroix was at that moment.

~laughter~ I once made someone a VHS tape of all the "Lacroix-free" episodes, and edited flashes of him out of "Dying to Know You" in order to include it. How diverse is the FK-fannish imagination! ~smile~
