I bought some Good Karma ice cream from Kroger, and it is AWESOME. Wish I had gotten more. Chocolate peanut butter fudge didn't strike me at the time, but once I tasted it... wow.
Who says non-dairy has to be gross? -

Watched "It's a Wonderful Life" for the first time today. (Actually started watching it Friday at the car dealership while getting it serviced...) Almost made me cry. I would hope that I'd have similar friends at the end of my life.
As usual, though, always hoping I've done well enough to meet a higher standard. -

Started adding new music to my mp3 player, and found some old files. Oops.
Will there be music in the hereafter? I sure hope so. Some angsty rock defining the human condition, and some loud-fi, stress-relief tunes.

Friday
Tis a good Friday. I got an ergonomic mouse tray to go with my desk tray. Arm and wrist are happy now. No more rolled-up dish towel. Still trying to decide whether I will get an ergonomic mouse (for my LH... RH is pretty much a "no"). -

I started looking at this site on workaholics. I thought it was pretty dumb at first. After reading some of the characteristics, though, I've given some more thought to the merits.
I think I've been living life in fast forward mode trying to get it "finished" for some time. Not sure what I'm here to do, but I want to get DONE so I can get out ( Read more... ) -
watermelon, cicadas, and chickpeas
Had a pretty good day today. Made up 8 hrs' work, put down mulch, and ate lots of yummy fruit--watermelon and mangoes, specifically. It's also cicada season.. loud, but not completely annoying ( Read more... ) -

Had a bit of a meltdown today. Went for a walk and felt better afterwards. Sis might join me in FL a few weeks from now, which would be cool. Work travel to vacation places is more fun when there's someone to share it with ( Read more... )
