Random thought: How come the number for bananas is 4011....every single grocery store they are labled "4011"

4011 is the official code for bananas, it helps the cashiers ring it up at the register. every item of produce has its own 4 digit code that the cashier types in when weighing the produce and i guess it would be stupid to have the numbers change from store to store. it's just the number for bananas.

it was the first code i memorized when i worked at publix..
