His eyes closed tightly, Don letting out a soft sigh as he gripped Danny's hands tightly.

"Never thought I'd see ya again that day."

Danny let his own eyes slip shut and he squeezed Don tighter, knowing exactly what he was talking about.

"I wasn't lettin' ya go that easily. We still had too much left to do."

After several moments of silence, a quiet sob slipped from his lips, Don clinging to Danny in a vice grip. He wouldn't have even thought about it had it not been for the story in the news earlier in the day.

His face anguished, he turns to her and hugs her tightly, hands shaking a bit as he does.
