hhhey this is carlos. band is pulling together only because the upperclassmen are starting to believe in it. It's also because we are loosening up with the freshman and with each other. i know it may look like i dont try during morning and afternoon practices, and the truth is i dont. only like a day before competition or game. the reason i dont is because it feels like torture. it feels soo plain and boring. it used to be kinda fun last year. thats because my upperclassmen with the trumpets last year were cool. when i try to be nice and funny with the freshman French horns now, i either get shut up, or hold back. eh, the good thing is that im having fun with the french horn freshman and old trumpet friends the second half of games. im happy you think better about the band now. i noticed.

yeah, i try. and i've told cheuk and sean that they're assholes to the section and that yelling at them won't help, but then when i get impatient, i start doing it. i guess for me, it's more fun when we're better.
