Colleen got me an XO laptop for Christmas.

I can't accurately claim it to be the best Christmas present ever, because it won't arrive until some uncertain time in January. But I am super, super excited. And hopefully some little boy or girl in
is just as excited.

In spite of my not caring about baseball, my parents worked hard for many years to raise me as a Red Sox fan. Up through high school, I just thought they were raising me to some sort of sports S&M freak. I mean, New Englanders supporting the Sox seemed as bad a plan as pretending Necco wafers were candy.

But its really starting to pay off.

Tonight's performance at the Thirsty Ear (the only scheduled stop on the Dan Katz 2007: THE EMO TOUR tour) was excellent.
