As much as I love a good fluffy-ending fight story, it was refreshing and probably good in the long run to read a Jim-and-Spock-fight story that didn't have an 'on-screen' resolution. Jim's paralyzing fear, shame, and heartbreak were all well-written and ridiculously sad.

Moving and heartbreaking--- but terribly real. Thank you so much for sharing. :)

Fights in fanfics usually end in happily ever afters. My angsty side said, "Hells no! You make those boys as miserable with each other as possible." And then I did.

I'm glad you found Jim's characterization realistic. I wasn't sure if I'd mad it too dramatic...
