Jello pudding is nasty.

I promised to bring Nanner Puddin (translation:  Banana Pudding) to M's Southern-themed birthday celebration tomorrow.  I haven't eaten, much less made any in years and years, so this was exciting.

Maybe you needed to serve it alongside Spam or macaroni & bologna meat slices, and wash it down with a jug of Tang to get that real childhood taste on your tastebuds.
