Today on my way back from the Hollywood farmer's market I saw the most original panhandling scheme I've come across in a long time

Nah. He was captured by aliens who took his tinfoil hat away and stuck him in an unfashionable hospital gown thinking it was a typical human custom. Then they landed him at H'wood/Los Feliz. "THEY" dropped him off. And he wants to tell Mulder and Scully about it right away!

Yes, but one needs to weigh rewarding creativity against the possibility of getting killed. LOL
