[filtered to the Convoy, shortly before their arrival in Licere]Good afternoon. I'm sorry for the late introduction-- my name is Kimihiro Watanuki, and I recently signed on as a cook on this ship. It's a pleasure to meet you. Have we been introduced...?

The inventory's fairly recent. Feel free to come by the records room any time to take a look. I'm usually there.
That's good to know.
[Logically speaking, if Watanuki's main problem with between-meal snacking is that it makes it harder for him to tell how much people will eat at mealtimes, he should take issue with people buying their own snacks too, but Justin isn't going to point that out... >.> ]

I hope buying your own things isn't too much of an inconvenience. I hope this only has to be a temporary measure-- I have yet to find a system that keeps people from taking whatever they want whenever they want it, though.
[W-well, it's more about knowing exactly how much of everything he has at every single moment-- even if the crew doesn't finish all of a meal, at least he knows how much went into making it, and their waste is another issue entirely. NOODLE IS JUST A CONTROL FREAK.]
