Yeah. I was just telling a colleague this morning that maybe it's not that David Bowie and Prince were holding the world together - maybe it's a "So long and thanks for all the fish" scenario, where the great ones can see what's coming and decide to get off-world before the Vogons get here?

I'm starting to get that impression. I hate this whole thing so much. I always thought of myself as a pessimist, but it just caught me completely unprepared. And now I truly am afraid of the future. I think, the french elections next year, might tear us down into the abyss.

Well at least Cohen's music is very suitable for the downward spiral we're on.

I think 2016 is just a generally sucky year.
