i need some advice

What do you do when your inner critic is working overtime? I don't have time to keep playing this game of second-guessing every idea I have and every word I put down; I have a deadline. How do you convince your brain that everything you write does not suck? Massive intakes of chocolate? I have no clue.

I've got the same problem -- I'm working with a deadline and I've not written a single word down. I haven't written anything in over a month, so I'm not used to it, I suppose. I know I'll get it done by the time it's due, I mean what choice do I have? It's just a matter of quality, I suppose. :/ But yeah, my advice is to just keep at it -- I'm sure it'll come to you soon! /crappyadvice

I'm the same as mollivanders -- I just usually try to power through it and write, and then deal with it in editing later.

Otherwise, sometimes reading other fic helps? I try to find inspiration from other fic/writers I like when I'm feeling stuck.
