I thought he loved me, and so I drove ~700 miles to be with him, and now, about six months later, he tells me that he actually loves someone about twenty years younger than he is.

The real kicker is that I really shit on my relationships with my family to be with him, gave up a nice job with people I really cared about, and wasted my time, isolated, in a place that felt like I was living on Mars, and now I have to go back and face the music.

C'est la vie, non?

i've added you back. i apologise for my journal as of late. all it's focused on recently in alcohol which isn't a warm welcoming for someone new to my journal.
