LOL, first off - Bring Me The Horizon - I legit like this band. I rarely like metal/screamo/whatever and I like this band. I found out about them I think in 2005 at the hype of all the scene queen stuff and whatsherfacestartingwiths was dating Oli, so I checked them

ugh, you have no idea how much i agree with panic. i LOVED them when their first cd came out, i had been listening to their demos the summer before that september and on fever's release date i called everyone and burned copies for all of my friends. by the time jon walker was in the band, though, i'd grown really tired of them - nothing to do with him, i was just bombarded by them EVERYWHERE and the same songs all the time and everyone at school, all fake, everyone i hated, had taken them and picked them apart and made them stand for things they never were really meant to stand for and i ended up not listening to them until around the time pretty odd came out. when it did, and everyone either hated or loved it, i was ECSTATIC because here was music that was even more refreshing and intimate and plain good than fever was, but the scene kids weren't tearing it apart. the love i have for them, that was renewed with pretty odd, still hasn't faded and i'm really grateful for that album

yes. yes. yes. all that.

and I understand about my chem. they aren't my favourite band anymore, but those two albums are so integral to how my life has taken shape. there's something about some of those songs that just made me feel something I had never felt before. I really need to listen to those albums again.

good comment. :) moral of the story? shithead fans have the ability to turn us away from the bands we love even when it's not the band's fault.
