MY FIRST WARPED!!!!!!!! '05
I'm gonna have 2 parts. San Antonio and Actual Warped.
(I'm not gonna go to much into detail for S.A.)
In San Antonio we went straight to stores. First we went to Garden Ridge. It was pretty boring but I bought an awesome 50 cent rubberband gun. After that we went to Ingram Mall. I went to Hot Topic to buy a shirt but they didn't have any good shirts. I went to Sam Goody AND THEY HAD THE 3rd BOYS' NIGHT OUT CD!!!!!!!!! After the mall we went to some stupid Hobby store. Boring. After I went to my sisters' to rest. We then went to some sea food resteraunt for my mom's birthday. I ate an awesome hamburger. After we all finished eating they came with a vanilla cake that had a big candle that said 50 years and then there were 6 wine bottles around the cake to equal to 56. She's ooollld :P. After going to the Sea Food place we went to my sisters' place and slept. I will continue the rest of it on the Warped Section.
The next morning I woke up at 8:00am and waited for Lori's call. at around 9:00am Chae called me and I asked if my sister could speak to Lori's mom. They set up a place to wait so that I can go into Warped with them 'cause my sister had to go take her friend to the airport.
I get to the resturaunt where Lori and everybody was waiting for me (Rudy's was the reteraunt) and we're off!!! There was a really short line of cars. Well, shorter than I expected. The line to get into Warped was way shorter than I expected too.
Once we get past the gates and everything and into Warped we go off. We went to some place where they gave out socks and stuff if you say 'Australian Scottie.' Lori, Amanda, Vicky and everybody got one except me. After that we went to the Line-Up and wrote everything down. While writing the Line-Up Juan and Roy show up and The Eyeliners were playing.
After we went to roaming around and got From First To Last sticker and Poster for free. We went to the Hurley stage to wait for Silverstein. To get good spots we went to see the first band called Opiate For Masses. I didn't like them and I especially didn't like the lead singer. Finally after them Silverstein finally came on. Juan, Amanda, Marissa, Jessica, Roy, Lori, Thomas, Vanessa, Vanessa's man, Terra, Michael, & Chae were in the crowd. Silverstein played a great show and played 'Giving Up', Smashed Into Pieces and I can't remember which others!!!!!!!! So AWESOME!!! during their last song me, Lori, Marissa all left out. I saw Annalee and went with her to buy water. She had just gotten out of My Chemical Romance and was in the front. She looked really tired and sweaty. I met her ex-man. Then I left with Thomas, Michael, forgot the guys name with the Take Your Shot, Miguel, Martin and Roy to rome(sp?) around. Then they left to some other place.
I went with Bogey and Jessica to Senses Fail. I was in the very front and really squashed. IT WAS SO FUCKIN' AWESOME!!! BUDDY RAN IN AND THEY AUTOMATICLY PLAYED STEVEN!!! They played Steven, Free Fall..., 187, Lady In A Blue Dress, and I can't remember which other song :(. After seeing their AWESOME performance I went with Bogey, Lori, Juan, Jessica to see whats up and I saw Mariel, Jesus, and some other guy in line for DKM signautres and I cut in. Everybody else didn't want to stay with me so they went off. While in line a guy was selling DKM's new CD. I reach into my back pocket and realize my wallet was gone. My wallet had $80. I got so fuckin' pissed off. I went through the line and got DKM signatures on their poster. I looked pretty pissed so I hope they didn't think I was pissed at them for some reason or something :P. Right when I get out of the line I go straight to the Senses Fail tent and check if my wallet was there 'cause Buddy had said that somebodies wallet was found and that it would be at the Senses Fail tent. I asked the guy and my wallet wasn't there:( :@:@:@:@:@:@:@:@:@. I had my key, my freshmen year band pass, my old schedules, and $80.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I walk off.
I went walking around for a long time with tons of Laredo people. I went walking with Amanda to get an energy drink at this energy drink trailer thing. After we went to the Hurley stage to see what time Underoath was gonna play. We sat down and I was gonna go check out when and where HIPV and Boys' Night Out were gonna play but then I ran into Michael and he asked me to go to refill his bottle with him. After that I went to check up on Amanda and left to check out times. After I went to get Motion City Soundtack's signatures. They're so awesome and nice. To get their signautre you had to go through the Trojan tent and they would give free condoms and pens and stuff so I got some stuff.
After that I went to the A7X signing to see if Michael Cortez was there 'cause he had the Line-Up on his cellphone and I checked what time Boys' Night Out, MCS, Armor For Sleep, Underoath, and HIPV were gonna play. I found out I had missed Motion City Soundtrack and Armor For Sleep :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(. I was walking with Jose and he told me that Buddy was signing so I went and I got a random peace of paper I found on the floor that had a design of a cap on it.
I saw Amanda there and we were walking. We went to get The Starting Lines signatures. The lead singer's awesome. Then Amanda and I went by Amber Pacific's tent and Amanda got their CD and signed too. I would've gotten the CD but I already have it and I didn't have money. I got their signatures on a booklet thing and talked to them for a bit. They're nice. Then Amanda went to see Underoath while I went to see Boys' Night Out.
While everybody was seeing From First To Last I stayed to watch Boys' Night Out. I was one of the first 5 to get there and then Lori, Vicky, and Bogey came. During the first song I saw Jesus and he came up to the front with me and Jesse and his girlfriend were there too. They played Medicating, and I Got Punched In The Nose For Sticking My Face In Other Peoples Business, It's Dylan You Know The Drill, Composing, and Where We Breathe. IT WAS A FUCKIN' AWESOME SHOW!!!! There weren't as many people as I expected to see. After them I went to the gate and met all of them and got signatures. I didn't get the drummers though.
I went to see Hidden In Plain View. They played Garden Statement, 20 Below, Bleed For You, and sadly I can't remember which others. After their perfomance I got was talking to the lead singer for about 5 minutes and got a picture. He's really easy to talk to and really awesome :D.
I went to see Dropkick Murphy's after HIPV. THEY PLAYED A REALLY REALLY AWESOME SHOW!!!!!!! THEY GOT A FAN FROM THE HUUUUUUGGE CROWD AND HE SANG UP ON STAGE!!! THE FAN WAS AWESOME AND KNEW EVERY SINGLE WORD!!!! On the last song they got a few people from the front to get up on the stage. The security people had asked Vicky but Vicky thought that they were asking her to get out and she had said no. Once she knew what they were trying to ask she asked if she can go up and they said no :(.
Once they were done I went to see Fall Out Boy since they were the last band to play and there was nothing else to do.
Lori, Amanda, Chae, and Vicky went looking for me and we went off to the car to leave. We went to eat Sonic and left to Laredo. I couldn't sleep the whole way back. Me and Amanda were playing a game where you sing a song with only using your lips and you would have to guess what song it was. We got bored of that and just talked for a while. I get home and about to drink water and my mom got mad at me 'cause she got a gallon of milk that was still practically full and she made me drink milk :P. I took a shower and straight to bed.
