Holy crap, that second picture, that is HIM. Only not.
And the loooooong tail! So very Etrigan. He doesn't have a pattern on his fur, at all, even a little, and his fur is the blackest fur I've ever seen that wasn't dyed. I think he must have Siamese in him. He does have a tiny kink in the tip of his tail, just barely there, so it could be from anything, really, but his tail is so LONG.
Amazing. They really do seem to have been cut from the same stuff.
I refer you back to your photos of Etrigan--look just in front of both his ears and how much sparser that fur is right there. You can see the white skin beneath it.
Also note the kink in tail, which Di also had. These are both marks of black Siamese.
In fact, his relentless chasing of toys until breathless is very like her, too. She not only would do that, but she'd go from that sitting full-stop into pitching herself up to six feet in the air to try to catch either a paper wad or a bird toy. The first time she did that, she also did a backflip and came down blinking in surprise, because she hadn't expected to actually DO a flip, she just DID.
In my first apartment (the pic with the chair) she would run down the hall and try to make the 90 degree turn into the living room and you'd hear THUNK!!! as she hit the wall, then would continue running. Over and over and over. Or she'd do the crouch-and-wiggle to jump from the back of the chair in the photo above and the table in the kitchen just beyond, and she'd 'time' it...for
