OP here~ And I have to say that THIS is JUST SO GOOD AND BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT. I love you. Like really ; ; Cause I didn't expect so much for that simple line. And this piece has everything I like: kaihun, colors and it's kind of a futuristic au (I just don't know how to say this ._. my poor English, sorry). I think you really used the idea and broaden it, 'cause when I read what you wrote in the comment, I thought about the condition, not a world where people doesn't see in colors! And and and everything<3 And I like SuDO here too ;A; And thanks<3

Yes yes yesss! All I really needed was a comment from you, the OP~ Thank you so much. I feel really happy that you liked it. I was scrolling through exopromptmemes for inspiration that day and I've never been inspired to write something by prompts from there until I saw yours. It was just one sentence and it just struck me, and I kind of paused and stared at it without knowing where I was going with it. Tbh, I think that the best prompts are vague enough yet inspirational at the same time so the writer could expand on it. I was in the middle of writing the first paragraph, starting with Sehun dreaming about colors, when I started having an idea of a world where people see in black and white. I'm so glad you spotted the futuristic au part too ;~;
SuDo yay~ lol I have the random tendency to put in side pairings when I write too lmao yay you liked them
haha so thanks again for helping to start up my writing muse /huggles/

I totally get that! Sometimes I read the other prompts and some of them are really specific, I wonder why the don't write their own fics! Anyways, I love it ;; and I'll love this work forever<3 Hehe, thanks to you for writing such a good fic, seriously!
And yeah, side pairing are always good, the helpful friends(?), kkk.

ohhhhh~ I hope your English piece went well! The condition has always been fascinating for me, and I love colors so I don't know what a world without color would be like either. I was thinking a little about some animals and how they only see in black and white when I was writing this. But they've known that all their lives, so they wouldn't know what they're missing (plus, their other senses must be a lot better than ours so yeah us humans must be missing a lot too...)
lol ranting here
ty
somehow this became a futuristic au too =_= heehee

oh wow, this is beautiful!
i was attracted to the prompt because i have synesthesia myself ((particularly audio-visual)), and you filled it so well. it's not exactly what i was expecting, but still lovely. plus clingy!sehun is the cutest x3

alkhdfaj thank you for checking this out and liking it
I've never met someone with synesthesia before but I've always been fascinated by the thought of being able to associate seeing a color and using another sense to perceive it. What's it like?
haha I don't think I was very good at confining myself to the prompt itself but this piece ended up writing itself based on it, so
I love clingy and bratty sehun. :D

yeah, it wasn't quite a synesthetic experience, but still amazing <3 ( ... )

I kind of knew about the seeing numbers and feeling colors because of it but I didn't know about the repetitive motions-to-sounds thing. Wow. O_o Is a certain number /always/ that color? I don't have synesthesia, but I usually associate the letter 'a' with blue for some reason.

There have been many scientific studies on how this exactly happened, some pointing out the increased levels of this chemical that might’ve caused the inactivation of this gene, while others call it natural selection - nature telling us that the practicality for seeing colors is no longer needed.

Still. Sehun glares at the black and white and in-between greys of the grass in between his fingers. Still. He hates waking up in the morning knowing that something is empty within him but not knowing why.

AH

ive read ur fics!! (mostly the sekai ones now that i look back at them) i loved ur fics!! /parties in the background

you quoted some of my favorite parts. somehow this world came out that way - because i started wondering, well. what if we lived in a world where we couldnt perceive color like we do now? we would never know what we would be missing. some animals see in black and white, so its possible that people could evolve/deevolve the same way. o~o

TY for the comment!!! i get excited whenever authors i know comment on my writing \o/
