I'm bisexual, so I'd be a pretty weird, and pretty hypocritical person if I didn't support gay rights, now wouldn't I? ^.~
I won't, however, repost this in my own blog. My family doesn't know, and I have a feeling that when I do eventually tell them, I'll then be searching for a new place to live. My mother has computer hacking skills, knowledge of my livejournal, intolerance when it comes to the mentioning of homosexuality, and natural noseyness; not a great combo when you're trying to keep a secret. :3
Sheesh. Kinda harsh but same here, except I'm heterosexual. Luckily my mom has no computer skills WHATSOEVER! Lol. But she does creep around and peep more like read the words and pictures on the screen when I'm online so I have to be pretty careful.
I can't blame either of my parents for it, really; they were raised to think it was wrong, and were never taught otherwise. *shrug* Whatever...
Ah, I know what you mean. My mom used to sneak into the den whenever I was on the computer and try reading over my shoulder. I was SO glad when I finally got Internet access on my laptop, let me tell you...
Ha! Ha! Me too! I saved up until I bought my own laptop which I use faithfully. Unfortunately, our other computer broke down and were getting it fixed so everyone is using mine. Which is fine, except for all of the yaoi and M+ dispersed all over my computer. I'm having to hide everything in folders inside of folders its so funny! My mom actually caught me when I was off guard while reading some VERY EXPLICIT yaoi Saiyuki fiction. I just HAD to be reading the heavy lemon scene that was way graphic when I finally noticed her reading it. Man was I embarrassed! I've like never been more embarassed in my life. Ever. To make it worse, I was breathing hard/shaking, slightly flushed from reading the lemon scene and she just stared at me for a while, didn't say A word and then walked off. BTW, the fic is called 'Beautifully Broken Evolution'.
I'm a bit scared though to even think that I might be bi. Mainly because of religion, family, and friends. I worry too much over what other people think. :(
