[She was lying on the desk, arm over her eyes, trying to get rid of her headache. She'd heard him coming from when he walked in.]

[She sat up, wincing.]

[The prince paused, closing the door behind him and frowning slightly. She didn't appear to be feeling much better than he was. He should have given her more time to recover... And now that he had a cold, maybe it'd be better if he kept his distance.]

[He caught himself staring at those lengthy ears and trying to recall if he'd ever actually met Ashelin in person before this. He'd talked to her numerous times on the devices before she disappeared...but had they actually spoken face to face? He'd like to think he'd remember ears like that.

Those golden eyes cast away so as not to make her uncomfortable. A hand raised to rub the back of his neck. He knew what it was like to have someone stare at you because you were in some way... different.]
