*picks her jaw up off the floor* Wow. Beyond being lovely, I'm impressed with the way the phrase "Will you still love me?" winds down, word by word, ending one stanza to begin another. It seems like the kind of thing that takes forever to do right. (There was going to be something about the effectiveness of punctuation and lack of capitalization, but I couldn't find the right way to put it. They work well, basically.)
The poem itself is rather purposeful in style and choice of words, including intentional hidden meanings. Although I wouldn't say it's something a lot of people would want to hear, but that's also the point, given the premise. I'm very happy with how it turned out, for it shows how my style continues to evolve. I enjoy writing poetry with several layers of meaning, just waiting to be found.
