Yeah, not too many people think too highly of any related discussion at the dinner table, or anywhere else for that matter. Ah, but que sera. We all must believe in something, whether it is the same as the person next to us is not relevant, in my opinion. We have to be individuals somehow.

I shall take this quizzie later. I am curious to see how my results will look.

"Libertarians believe that you have the right to live your life as you wish, without the government interfering, as long as you don't violate the rights of others."

The only problem with that is... not everyone will keep from violating the rights of others. Either they will not have the same view of what are "rights" or what constitutes violation of OR there are those who simply disregard completely. So then what follows to explain this? (Just curious, not at all being negative so please don't take it this way! I am sure you won't but I wanted to communicate clearly.)
Here is a simple example: breastfeeding. Advocates do not believe this violates any rights whereas opponents do. As flawed as it may be, some type of mediator is needed.

As to the example, just trying to use something simple that is not politically-loaded and what I felt would be a fairly nuetral topic in this forum.
