[The feed starts with a barking wolf cub staring at the open journal on the floor. The image isn't clear but it seems as if the book has fell. The animal paws all over it, sniffing at it before it starts to bite it and tear pages out as if it was a chewing toy

[ for a moment Kotomi sounds almost sad as she starts talking (that poor book, she feels so bad for it..) but then her tone return to her more neutral blank one. ]

This book is a little different from most books though. Normally there would be people who could fix a book, but this journal is a little special.

[The book will survive. At least it seems he can still hear people and it's not as if he uses it terribly much to begin with.]

"Little" special sounds like an understatement. How many books have you seen that can send voice, image, make filters and whatever before?

Also, she's a little quiet, as if she's actually seriously considering that question. There's a bit of a thoughtful hum. ] ... I haven't seen any before that could do that.

Thought so. That would make it very special, wouldn't it?

Well, there's gotta be some kinda machinery in these things, so a mechanic sounds about right.

[Nevermind he doesn't think there are that many mechanics who could actually fix it...]

At least seems to still be working well enough... I won't bet on if there's a mechanic that could fix this though.

Maybe you could find a... specialist? Doesn't seem much point if it's working, though.

A journal specialist, that's something I hadn't heard before.

[Ikki grunts as he eyes the journal.]

I can send messages and get them apparently. Guess that's good enough.

Seems so. I never thought I would see the day in which he would attack something that wasn't footwear.

Maybe it's the leather covering.

[He glares at the pup in his arms again, but the animal just ignores his scowl and remains happy and innocent while trying to lick his owner's face.]

And he doesn't even care. Tsch, irresponsible beast.

[AWWWWW. she puts on a mock cuu of how cute that is. Mostly to hassle this guy]

[Sure, the beast is cute. Until it destroys your footwear. Ikki frowns at the journal and grunts in response. Don't hassle him, girl.]

[What, no reaction? What a loser. HUFF!]

[Reacting would have been worse. And a grunt is totally a reaction. Ikki scowls at the journal.]

Sounds like someone needs to go play with his pup.

Or get him new chew toys. Or shoes, he liked those too.

You know he's doing this for your attention right?

I already pay him attention.

[He does, but maybe, probably the pup wants more. Ikki's the type that is there when he's directly needed but other than that leaves people be on their own, his pet doesn't get a different treatment.]
