Society is strange here. They deem women need to be pretty and harmless, and flower-like. You'll have to work harder to find something along the lines you're thinking.

That notion is popular in many undeveloped areas, it seems. Do you know where I can at least find some protective clothing, even if it may be for men?

The notion is just as popular in many developed areas as well. It seems to be sadly, a universal concept. Woe for society, woe!

Sadly no. I don't have much use for such protective clothing. Hmm... Have you considered the Black Market? You may find what you want there much easier than looking up here, since they're in the market for certain types of luxuries that wouldn't appeal to the bourgeois up here.

There are leather pants in some of the stores. The shoes aren't so bad though.

[Let's face it, Buffy would wear everything Azula picked up. And on patrol.]

Are these shoes supposed to be some form of weapon? [She's being serious here.]

They can be. Roundhouse kick to the jaw and they're going down for the count. Find the heart and use them like a stake. Wham blam. Dead monster.

I can see how that might be useful for a nonbender. [She picks up the shoes again, giving them another look over.]

You can ask for a man named Cinna. I've heard that he owns a clothing boutique. Perhaps you can ask for clothing tailored to your needs?

That sounds useful. Do you know where I can find him?

I should have his directions stored in this device. Hold on, one second.

[Directions sent!]

That should be it.

It sounds like you might have to get something custom-made.

I was hoping I could find them at a cheaper price. Clearly, this city is too idiotic to have anything useful in stock.
