Extremely so. I don't know about you, but I thoroughly enjoyed that parade.

The Chinese always know how to celebrate in a grand way.

I have to agree on what Ms. Hawkeye said below, though. It's impractical to wear miniskirts all the time for the women of the military.

. . .

Roy, you do know that the only reason they would do this is because of a special occasion... I've told you before, it's not practical to wear something as such on a daily basis in the military. I recall I myself have worn skirts for the funerals of fallen officers. This is simply for dress and special occasions for example as such as you have stated....

But our women have knee-length skirts. They have on miniskirts. That makes a whole lot of difference!

[ooc: she's gearing to kick his ass....]

That makes no difference. Out in the field they are both just as impractical.

I have to say I like these uniforms. Perhaps I can get my next date to wear one of these.

I'd approve except military uniforms should be for military personnel only. Do feel free to make her wear a normal miniskirt though, those are just as good.

This is true enough. Though there is something about a military outfit that makes it better

Only you would say something like this, but I must say they don't look that bad. Military women need to loosen up.

See? At least you agree with me there!

Uniforms promote unity and a sense of belonging to the whole, Colonel. While there was the dress option with a skirt for female officers, it was dress only.

Add to this that the miniskirt is highly impractical, I doubt any female officer in the military would voluntarily wear one while on duty. Pants, as a whole, are more suited to the battlefield. I would have thought you would know this Colonel; unless, of course, you were willing to show the rest of us how you're argument would have a practical use personally.

Ah... My apologize, sir. It was a bad attempt at humor. I will not try it again.

Not at all, please continue to humor us. I dare say that we need laughter to operate as educators. I would simply suggest that you have better taste in what you wish to present next time, Colonel.
