hello. i just finished making a cake. and yes, it is 12:30 in the morning. don't you wish you lived with me, a person who makes goodies at midnight? kind of like an elf. it is a yummy cake, devil's food cake with a fluffy white icing. and, it is mostly sugar free and all from scratch. right now i am looking at make it yourself pet food because one ( Read more... )

Not. Fair!! Mom said she was going to go over the whole decorating thing with me because I suck at decorating with icing, and here you are making a cake. Fine. I'll just learn on my own. *sticking tongue out at you*

mom didn't help me at all, she left before i had done more than take out the flour. it wasn't really decorated so much as iced. i made a fluffy white icing (had to make two batches) smeared that on there, melted chocolate and drizled it over the edges. not writing or anything, because that never works, i have tried that before.

To answer your questions: Because I'm smart, yes, I do, yes, I do, and yes, I do.

I can't make buttercream icing with the same smooth consistancy as publix. I mean it's almost the same, but it has a slight grittiness that isn't there with publix. It isn't as fluffy, I don't think.

I've got 2.5 more lbs of icing, and you and I can practice decorating if you come over for HARRY POTTER MOVIE MARATHONAFEST!! If we do it soon, that is.
