I was working the polls yesterday. Democrats now control the Virginia Senate! Both Fairfax and Loudoun are now Democrat majority. So now the very new diverse areas of Northern Virginia and the old diverse areas of Richmond and Hampton Roads are all very Blue. Someone involved with Critical Incident Stress Debriefing asked me yesterday at work how I felt, if I was in touch with my feelings.

I told them I was not in touch with my feelings, that I preferred to have more of a passing familiarity with them.

I used to read with this poet seven years ago and when I saw the name I wasn't sure it was the same guy. Then a local poet put this link up.
