Abilities & Physical Abnormalities:
Jackson has the ability to turn into Holt Hyde when exposed to loud music. The usual music that effects him is pop and rock, or anything with a deep beat. Classical or older music seems to not trigger the transformation due to him being able to watch silent movies. He has no control over the change and blacks out during it. Because of this he strives to avoid music at all costs. Despite his nerdy appearance he is quite good at athletic and loves to play 'casketball' with is friends. Due to his parentage he is intelligent and has a head for science. He loves taking Mad Science classes and painting.
Holt is the complete opposite of Jackson. He is a skilled DJ and musician. Another uncanny ability of his is his apparent talent for flattering ladies with his quick wit and excitable attitude. When he starts spinning out tunes , the party gets really started.
As for physical, the two share a yin yang tattoo between his/ their shoulder blades and a left eyebrow piercing.
Personality:
The phrase , “There is more than meets the eye,” can be tossed around when referring to sixteen year old Jackson Jekyll. He seems perfectly normal to the naked eye. However , in truth he is two0 entirely different people. Holt Hyde and Jackson Jekyll are bonded together through one common trait. They are the same person. In the original “Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” written by Robert Louis Stephenson , a scientist creates a potion that separates the two sides of his nature. Though inherited in Jackson/Holt’s case it is still a factor in their personalities. Even with Holt being more extravagant than evil , the two highly contrast each other.
As the only ‘human’ student at Monster high, Jackson had a bit of a complex when it comes fitting in. All he wanted was to be a monster. And who can blame him? He was bullied mercilessly by the monsters for being a ‘normie’. He knew he did not belong and it bothered him greatly. At one point the even went so far as to ask Draculaura to bite him so he would be a vampire.
When he becomes aware of his dual nature , Jackson is not pleased. Even though he got what he had wanted so badly, he is furious that an obnoxious person like Holt could ever share a body with him. He hates Holt , almost. This retains the book’s original premise. As Jackson’s other side , he represents everything Jackson is against.
Jackson can be classified as a nerd in the standards of high school.. He loves science and history almost as much as he loves video games. His favorite history subject seems to be normie/monster relations. This hit close to home for him because even though he knows he is half monster, Jackson mostly identifies as a normie still. Science is in his blood. His father was a scientist , after all. This subject comes naturally to him and he enjoys it. Unlike his other half , Jackson prefers to watch a silent movie over partying. Music makes him “…lose my short-term memory and my long-term dignity.”
Holt is possibly the biggest ham anyone will ever meet. He is loud and likes to build himself up. This isn’t for any reason other than he really believes it and so do most of the people he knows. He is most often seen Djing at a local dance or party. When he is in the room everyone always knows it, because his voice carries. Holt is very loud and extravagant. This is demonstrated by his habit yelling across the school hallways at his friends. Unlike Jackson , he hates sitting still. If he isn’t dancing it is a waste of time to him.
A big difference between Holt and Jackson is their social levels. A musician like him has to be. He strives to promote his music. Words come very easy to Mr. Holt Hyde. He often uses flattery quite skillfully when wooing girls. If Holt likes a particular girl he will give her a flattering nickname. For example , he calls Frankie Stein, “Frankie Fine”/ Also a nod to his fiery appearance is Holt’s fierce temper, that gets him in trouble sometimes. But , he always apologizes.
Another big difference between Jackson and Holt is their self-confidence. While Jackson is a nervous , self-doubting worrywart, Holt is cool and filled to the brim with self-assurance. He is awesome and knows it. Always speaking in slang while Jackson is all proper , Holt is the stereotypical ‘cool guy’. He is more popular than the more mousy half because of this.
Though the two are very different, they share core similarities. They are both good guys. Though it manifests in different ways, they are both friendly. While Jackson is the first to meet her, they both have a soft spot for Frankie Stien. This is because of the leak effect that the two halves have , that makes traits trickle over. All in all they make on interesting guy.

I hope to expand on the friendship between the two and help widen the differences between them.

Uncomfortable. I prefer to plan things out. Impulse isn't my thing.

No. I ..uhh.. I'm not very good in crowds.

I prefer to sit in the background. I diffidently not a leader.
v) What three things would you want to have with you on a desert island? State your reasoning.
Food. Water. An iCoffin. At least while I call help I can survive on the food and water.

It helps,I guess. I've never really been liked by alot of people. Usually , they just shove me in a locker.
