Nice to hear things are going so well. Might I suggest a few possible designators (in jest I assure you) for your "Beloved Spouse"

funny - Husbutch
overly clinical - domestic partner
pathetic - my better half
just plain ridiculous - significant other

Heh - Husbutch definitely works among our friends, but I think the average straight person would be weirded out - Not that I would normally care about the average straight person, but I have to deal with many of them in my line of work. lol
The other three just made me LOL. :D

Partner. It seems to be a default with a lot of us. Not 'domestic partner', just 'partner'.

You could go all british and refer to her as the Trouble and Strife or Me Ol' China. What about Her Indoors or She Who Must Be Obeyed?

Yep. She said, "See? I told you I was the 'Alpha Party'"
(When we applied for our marriage license, we had to decide who would be 'Party A' and who would be 'Party B' - So, she's 'Party A', for Alpha (lol), and I'm 'Party B', for Bride. :D)
