Who cares if the book was a lie or not? It was still an amazing piece of literature. It moved and related to many people who have have gone through hardship in their lives and I dont think he should be criticized for writing such a wonderful book. Maybe he did lie, or embelish the truth. Which yes is not right of him to do, especially since there are many real addicts out there. But who really knows the truth? Only he does. And in my opinion the book was amazing either way, whether he actually lived it or not.
