I voted! Which is nice, though it took a while (voting early is the cool thing to do these days; it took an hour and a half for me to get up to the front of the line, and by the time I did, the line got even longer). So. I feel like a good citizen ( Read more... )

Oh geez, and to think I'm planning to vote on election day itself... I'm going to leave work at 2:30, and at this rate, I'm doubting I'll get done before 5 anyhow!

Congrats again on the employment. :)

I actually think it might be faster to vote on election day-- right now, everyone who wants to vote in the city has to do it at the same place, but on Tuesday there'll be lots of different locations. I hope it's faster, anyway; I'm sure that some people wouldn't be able to wait in line two hours in order to vote (the lady in front of me said that today was the third day she tried; the last two days she just couldn't make it through the line before she had to go pick up her kids from school).

Oh, okay! I didn't realize everyone had to vote in the same place to vote earlier.

I do know that my polling place is small...Emily says it was super-crowded for the primary. (It's a different place than I voted at for the primary.)

Thanks! I was starting to feel a bit desperate (silly things like food and rent), so it's pretty much a huge relief.
