I think "these ones" doesn't really sound -right-, but I don't object to it. On the other hand, we say "this one" all the time, right, so "these ones" is the natural extension...

Hm, that's interesting-- I'll have to ask my dad what he thinks of "this one"; I feel like it's something that he uses（or at least doesn't object to).

Oh, I'm glad you did make it to Portland - I was thinking of you during that busy travel day! I'm sorry it was slightly hellish. Mine was, miraculously, completely fine - I'm not sure how that happened.

Going out wasn't so bad-- everything was late, but nothing was canceled and all the other travelers seemed pretty upbeat about it. I'm glad to hear that your flights were all good, too. :)
