ohh I think I have family in Witchita. or something like that. I think its Witchita Falls, I dunno if thats the same place.

I'd say go for it. Lower tuition, a chance to get out from where you are, and it has your perfered major! win win win.

Definitely make sure to visit the campus before you go there; I learned that lesson that you really want to see how you feel about it. Some of the schools I thought about attending that looked great, when I got there they totally felt offputting and others attracted me in different ways. Thats my bit of advice, is to feel around :)

Truly going to check it out in person to get a feel for it, as well as ask questions about the courses and whatnot. It looks very promising so I'm going to see what can be done.

Gaaaah. Don't even remind me about the crisis the state faces. x-x

Stupid state... now I'm not even sure if I'll be able to get the money I need for college this year.

Not to mention the chaotic bankruptcies going on, and what not.
