Just in Time for Samhain!

"On 28th of August 2008, the Swiss Parliament granted an official pardon to Anna Goeldi who in 1782 was the last person to be executed as a witch in Western Europe. It is time the British government followed this example and this Halloween offered a symbolic pardon to those people who were punished for witchcraft in Britain ( Read more... )

That I don't know Kitty. It would depend if their system is screening the IPs by nationality.

The sad thing about those times is that the overwhelming majority of those victims were not witches - just old folks who were cranky, inconvenient or disliked. Very few real witches got caught. Their lines didn't survive to the 17th century by being dumb.
