ARGH!!! I cannot take it anymore! Cupid is NOT an angel! He doesn't have anything to do with Christianity Cupid is the God of sexual love in the Roman Pantheon, aka Eros in the Greek, son of Aphrodite the goddess of love and beauty and Ares the god of war (Greek) or in the Roman pantheon, the son of Venus goddess of love and Mars. He ALWAYS had wings, but was not portrayed in his cherubic form until the 19th century, though he was always the GOD of love.
