Yesterday, my last birthday present, the one I got for myself, arrived in the mail! I had ordered the Arashi Around Asia 2006 Dome concert pamphlet, and it finally got here *flails

As often happens with your posts, there was something specific I wanted to comment on and then I got so distracted by the rest of the pictures that I forgot what it was.
Lots of Arashi goodies, lots of sparkles!! I love this post^^
I can't believe I'm seeing Jun in front of Matsumoto Castle! hahaha. May I ask how you did it? :) I was thinking you got the standee or got it made in Japan and simply carried it around? If that is so, awesome!^^
The standee is an older AU ad from maybe 2 years ago, and had all 5 of them, but broken into 3 parts with tabs to join them.
We found it used for around US$85 at a Mandarake store in Osaka. The Matsumoto@Matsumoto thing was the Boy's (my husband's) idea, and I think I dithered for two days before buying it.
As for transporting it, it folded in half, and we just sort of skulked around the castle, waited until no one was standing in sight and then set it up for pictures. It wasn't really all that visible when it was folded.
It was probably the most ridiculous thing we did during the entire trip. Now I'm sad I didn't think to take pictures of Sho there, too, since Matsumoto was the castle he got stuck cleaning the pigeon droppings off of for the batsu game in the MMA special where Aiba became Birdman.
Someday, I would like to be able to do that, too, lug around Jun or Sho and pose with them in a relevant spot in Japan. How about Jun at Ebisu Garden Place? :) Just a thought.
I've seen caps of that episode where Sho had to do some cleaning. Have to watch the episode. I've always wondered whether it was at that castle that was also featured in Inoue Mao's drama "Ohisama". Now I know it was in Matsumoto Castle.
