a perfect day. a noon screening of the 400 blows, (the ifc center is showing truffaut every weekend at noon until thanksgiving, and then an all day doinel marathon). then i went to washington square park and read for three hours. i finished camara laye's the dark child. i came back to my dorm and made dinner. i got some more of my school books in

a while ago they were having all these truffaut retrospectives in france (the anniversary of his death or something? i forget why). i would watch all my DVDs at home and long to cross the mighty atlantic.

Utah is really nice and pretty. People are okay here, some pretty mice people!
