You may think that's bad, but we have plenty of Princess Diana crap over here. I mean the United States declared independence over 200 years ago. You'd think we'd be over the fucking royals by now. Also Princess Diana wasn't that hot. Everyone talks about how incredibly beautiful she was. She wasn't. She had bug eyes and a somewhat rattish face. This is apropos of nothing, except that I'm tired of people acting like she was the second coming of Grace Kelly.
People are, by and large, tools. The focus on celebrity in the western world is absolutely mind boggling. Who cares what Lindsay Lohan eats or doesn't eat for supper? The answer is TENS OF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE. What. The. Fuck.
It's like we've got these weird tribal concepts in our ape brains that we should care about people whose faces we see a lot, and people can't seperate that ape feeling from the knowledge that being on TV or in the movies is different from living next door.
Indeed. It'dve been much better had you chosen to keep more practical ties to the 'old country', such as driving on the left-hand side of the road, or proper spelling
