Here is some free advice to all you parents, and potential parents, out there:

Please, when you are round at your friends’ homes, do take a moment to consider whether or not your children are, at present, celebrated mural artists, whose works have been favourably remarked upon by the leading critics in the field, and are currently on display

See, that's more like it! Free and practical advice. I thank you. Remember that episode of Friends where Phoebe's mum gives her a wee puppy to look after in preparation for having kids? (okay, maybe you won't if you don't have a telly... ask someone instead) I reckon there should be a temporary puppy handout (maybe from a dog pound - 2 birds, 1 stone) to all those potential parents out there whose abilities to cope may be in doubt.

Admittedly, if you're giving crayons to your puppy, there's something SERIOUSLY wrong with you, but hey, I'm the first to admit the idea needs fleshing out some.

That's... what can I say? Disgraceful. If this kid is determined to cause petty damage, they should be well into hackng websites by now. What a mess... poor kid.

And you're right, I haven't seen Friends-- I've seen half an episode here and there, nothing to make me think it was worth gluing myself to its particular time slot (this is one of my major bitches against telly: I will watch what I want to WHEN I want to, and if I don't feel like watching when the broadcasters think I should, I bloody well won't). But I jave to object to the trial puppy idea. Think of the puppies.
