[ her voice is soft, and fairly emotionless now. serious shock is setting in, numbing her. ]

[That sounds like a kid. Axel groans inwardly, really wishing all that hadn't had to happen over the journals. He gets up enough energy to mumble out a response.]

[His voice is calm, but there's definitely an undercurrent of urgency to it. He wants her to remain calm so that she can do whatever is needed to help her friend.]
