Coco's is pretty good! I've eaten there a few times since arriving in CA. On The Border I haven't tried, but I'll be sure to look for one near me. :)

Have fun in Houston! That's very near my hometown. ^^

For a chain restaurant, On the Border has to be THE best Mexican place around; They never skimp on the portions, and the chips and house-made salsa alone are worth the trip. By far, one of our favorite places to eat out at.
Sorry I won't be at MFF; I look forward to seeing you again at Anthrocon next year! :3

Coco's used to be in Colorado but the chain didn't survive the competition and higher rents there I suppose.

On the Border is great, I saw one off the side road while we drove down the highway to Furfright. Its not really a mexican restaurant, they pride themselves on being Tex-Mex and their tangy salsa is sold in some supermarkets in the USA. I think they had the deal with the Kroger family of stores but if you liked the salsa check the supermarket, they may sell it.

Yeah when it comes to chain restaurants they are near the top of my list, presentation and taste are great. I know I went to a Chili's and ordered Fajitas and they gave me what essentially was a build it yourself kit that took up 90% of the real estate of the table I was sitting at. I wasn't impressed as I thought to myself and I am paying you for what exactly? When I went to On the Border though the food was piping hot and the cheese was nice and melty and gooey and melt in the mouth delicious.
