I was looking at my userinfo page this morning and I noticed an option I'd never seen before called "schools".
The idea of someone being able to browse for a journal based on the school I'm in terrifies me. Maybe because my school is so small that I would be instantly identifiable. I don't like it livejournal!

livejournal, school

It's new, it's exciting, yadda yadda yawn. I am choosing not to utilise that function at this journal even though a college is less quickly-identifying than a secondary school. Because, yeah.

The internet is scarily small. I take nothing for granted when it comes to anonymity anymore.

I added my school.
Because there's seventeen HUNDRED students there.
I'll NEVER be found!

You're friends-locked. It doesn't count because it doesn't matter if they find you or not! =P

My school's on their, but have no interest in getting myself on that list. I found a kid I graduated with though, which was odd, and I figured out who it was by reading the entries.

hehe. I love your school.

I don't think I've ever come across a livejournal by coincidence and thought "hey, i know you in real life!".

I did an interest search on CTYI one day and found some CTYIers I could identify though. Yes, I was *that* bored.

I'll never forget when Lake (CTYIer, not school person) found my journal. It was my old journal, and I didn't have CTYI listed as an interest. It freaked me out.

I remember that as well. Hehe, that was a funny day. And less sinister in hindsight :P
