Wow, you are such an amazing writer, I can seriously imagine you writing a novel one day, you are that good.

I loved the way you described Ryan's apartment in this... and before I know it he’s leapt from the third world state, back through to the clean-cut, solar-powered paper city.

The imagery is just fantastic, you have so much talent.
Its beautiful, really.

*blushblushblush* Thank you muchos! I always kinda liked the thought of writing a novel, I just, I dunno if I could write anything long enough. I've written short stories for school (of which my English teacher stole, passed around the staff room to proclaim her undying love of my writing then bring it back and tell me how she was going to send it off for competition next year. Which for some reason was really, really embarrassing - especially as it involved two teenage boys in a bit of a lust-craze for each other.) but that's about it.

Sorry, am totally rambling now.

Just, really, thank you. I'm so happy you're enjoying this!

I just read this whole thing this morning, and I have no idea why I hadn't read it before.

It's so smart, you know? It feels like I'm reading an actual novel, and not just a story on the internet. The writing is lovely <3

And Conor Oberst blows my mind too <3

I love getting new readers, *hugs* welcome!

Thank you so much, it's lovely having this so well-recieved.

And yes, Conor Oberst blows the minds of many, his lyrics send me into spasms of joy. It's unhealthy, you know.

(She says this whilst listening to 'Aqua' on her ipod *sighs*)

"The apartment is a city of high-rise stacks of paper, biro-pen street-lights, glue-stick people. There’s an origami crane on the bare-fraction-of-table pond."

It's definately the combination of your vivid imagery and ability to capture the confusion of emotion that make this story such a powerful read. I really love the way you've portrayed Brendon's strange addition to Ryan. Ryan's character is such an enigma that I too feel compelled by him - compelled to figure him out.
PLus the bit about Brendon's mother... just gorgeous. Lovely.

I eagarly anticipate your next chapter.

Your comments always leave me smiling like a moron. Thank you so much.

I always worry that I over-write things, that the metaphors and imagery I use won't make sense. To know that people actually get this is such an awesome feeling.

I'm glad you're finding Ryan such an enigma, coz really, he probably isn't, it's just that Brendon is so fascinated by him that he sort of becomes one.

I love complicated characters and complicated stories and just, things that don't always make sense straight off the bat. It's my chess-playing brain...or something. ^^ Brendon's mother actually becomes semi-important (hence the title of the fic), not in her precisly, but more in what she represents in Brendon's life.

I've almost finished the next two chapters actually, *gasp*, they fit together pretty close so...hopefully the next part'll be up soon-ish! Thank you again!

I seriously want to know why I only JUST found out about this fic.
Last night, since I'm such a slow reader, I read all the chapters from like 2am-3am hahahah.
This is so, so, so good. Honestly.
It's well written in a way that it doesn't only tell a story revolved around a plot, but you kind of..add a bit (a lot) of your own creative writing in there.
I don't know how much sense that makes, but there's just a lot of stories where everything is just explained very plainly, but you make it so that everything is really vivid and just.
Wow.
Haha C:
I love it.

It's always lovely to get new readers, so, yay! *pops party poppers* Welcome!

Thank you so much, creative writing has always been something I've been really passionate about, and find comes quite naturally, so to actually get comments like these are unbelievable for me.

I am so, so grateful to everyone who reads this and takes the time to comment, and I am so happy that people are enjoying reading this as much as I am writing!

Again, thank you so much!
