( The Doctor lay on the bed as he slowly came back to his senses and he could hear her panting heavily next to him. He still had an arm wrapped around her and he pulled her close, her sweat covered skin pressed onto his, her hair tickling his cheek. )

I love this, particularly the Doctor's insecurities and Donna's way of tapping them down with her crack about breakfast. (I'm ignoring the ending, btw.) Wonderful!

It's horrible I know, just re-watched JE and I'm sort of depressed when I wrote this. But, Donna is lovely and the poor Doctor just needs some lovin'. :D thanks for reading/commenting.

This was delicious, and very in character, I was holding my breath toward the end hoping they wouldn't screw it up with the talking, but then they admitted their feelings and it was perfect :D thank you!
